Data Integration Engineer
Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary data integration technical resource for new client implementations
• Create and develop required scripts for implementations, including pipeline development (import and export files)
• Serve as the primary API SME to support client usage
• Facilitate data integration process from program kickoff to production launch
• Compose and maintain all DI artifacts related client implementations
• Design and implement custom client requirements on a professional services basis
Requirements:

Required Skills:
• Extensive SQL knowledge. (Candidates will be tested)
• Experience in file manipulation (shell utilities or scripting languages such as Perl, Python, etc.)
• Proficiency with regular expressions. (Candidates will be tested)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with clients via email, telephone, and in-person meetings
• Ability to balance competing priorities, while never losing track of overall responsibilities
• A BS or MS from a tier one university, plus 0-3 years of work experience (or just be really, really smart)
• A strong resistance to take shortcuts which significantly compromise quality, with the ability to produce deliverables quickly is essential.
• Excellent problem solving skills (be prepared to cite specific examples)
• Strong familiarity with XML, XSLT, XSD
• Familiarity with OOP and design patterns
• The ability to gather requirements and translate them into formal specifications.
• Possess a professional and cooperative attitude, and the ability to stay focused in high stress situations
• T-SQL flavored SQL experience
• Understanding of architecture and development methodologies of n-tier systems
• Experience with SOAP based APIs
• Experience gathering specifications
• Can-do attitude
