Director of Sales at Loyalty Lab, Inc. in New York, NY
Loyalty Lab has an immediate opening for a Sales Director based out of the New York area.
In this position the Sales Director will serve as the primary lead in developing, motivating and accelerating sales. Must have a proven track record in qualifying opportunities, building pipeline & closing sales.
The Sales Director will be responsible for working with a wide variety of prospects to identify and translate tactical application configurations, as well as assist Loyalty Lab Account Managers to ensure success. Leading up to launch, the Sales Director will shift their role to accelerate revenue success: Pipeline conversion, tactical fit, RFP management, presentations and relationship management across all levels including the C-suite. Must have a proven ability to be a self-starter for Sales plans, progress tracking, clear resolution steps and date management.
The Sales Director will serve as a key member of a rapidly growing sales team, and will initially report directly to the President of Loyalty Lab. After sell-in, the Sales Director will act as a client advocate and leverage that relationship to capture added revenue and added reference-based sales pipeline.
In addition to the above, the candidate must have the following qualifications:
• At least 10 years experience providing exceptional sales results in the Loyalty &/or Marketing Community.
• Able to manage many relationships in parallel and demonstrate a "hunter" sales approach.
• At least 4 years experience in complex software sales, either onsite or SaaS.
• At least 2 years experience with sales software, ideally Salesforce.com.
• At least 2 years experience in integrating new & emerging platforms such as Facebook
• Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in collaborating with both professional services and software development teams to accelerate and maximize sales success and efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have an agency background, and should be comfortable with technical sales and strategic, consultative selling. Prior experience with large service providers a plus.
The position is based out of the New York area, with travel required to your clients in the US. The position requires immediate availability.
